Loreto Sanhueza Vergara
Sanhueza Loreto was born in Santiago de Chile. His artistic inclinations were developed from an early age and painted his first oil painting at age seven when his mother posing for a portrait, from that moment he knew his life would be devoted to painting. Spent several years in the estate of his father and his contact with the field and finally scored his people in his work. His paintings reflect a love of human beings and their environment inspired by indigenous cultures in Latin America and elsewhere, especially the Aymara and Mapuche. They show that burden of kindness, wisdom and beauty of its own on the faces of the townspeople. Usually paints women, children and elderly in an attitude of contemplation, surrounded by personal effects and work. In his still life highlights the textures and patterns of the ancient gates with clay pots, copper pots, rugs and shawls worn by time. His mastery of drawing, vivid colors and an excellent technique in which the Renaissance with its veils of impressionism in her flowers and landscapes, together with spatula touches make the pictures of this almost self-taught artist special. His studies lasted three years, at the Institute of Contemporary Art and private teacher, then continued working alone and discovering his own techniques to be a hit work on sheets of gold and silver.
Loreto has won two awards at the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de La Florida and two awards in Santiago de Chile. His paintings are in collections individuals in the USA., Canada, Germany, Holland, England, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, India, Belgium, Peru, France, Spain etc. most of them being specially made to order for their customers.
2008 was included in the book of contemporary art, \"Image and Criticism\" by Ricardo Cesar Lescano Grosso, one of the representatives of Chile.
Have long lives and works in Santiago and the sea in Lomas del Mar condo in Maitland. His paintings are on permanent display at the Hotel Sheraton, Hyatt Hotel in Santiago Artium Gallery Chile.
